Greiner Packaging have been a client of ours for a number of years, having previously completed several successful projects for we were tasked with an electrical refurbishment of a production hall.

Greiner Packaging are a multinational company that produces rigid, plastic packaging – successfully for more than 60 years. Their customers are located all over the world, with over 30 locations in 19 countries, they are exactly where their customers need them to be. Greiner packaging protects a wide variety of products, from yoghurt and salads to detergents.

The Project –

Having successfully worked with the client on several projects in the last few years we were tasked with completing an electrical refurbishment of a production hall and the installation of containment, supplies and control cabling for plant equipment associated with the new extruder line. The project ran to schedule and was completed within the required time constraints. Works included –

• Strip out and removal of redundant electrical installation
• Containment including ladder, tray, trunking and steel conduit.
• SWA supplies to extruder, granulators, chillers etc…
• Control cabling as specified
• Lighting & emergency lighting installation
• General power
• New independent data and CCTV comms cabinets and containment
• Fibre optic cable infrastructure throughout site
• Design and fitout of portable storage building
• Installation of CCTV system cabling throughout
• Installation of fire alarm equipment and cabling throughout
• Testing and commissioning of complete installation
